Arthur Murray Medal Ball meets Greased Lightning

Arthur Murray Medal Ball | Grease Theme | Friday, August 12th 2016

Get your leather jackets and poodle skirts ready.  Arthur Murray is going Greased Lightning with the August 2016 Medal Ball.

The Event

The Medal Ball is a graduation event, but in the Bay Area – it’s done a little bit different.  This Friday Night event had always been an elegant affair, but nearly 10 years ago it turned into a fun themed party.  This Friday night party is still centered around celebrating the students graduating from each level of their dance program (the Medalist System).

Honor Dances

Watch special milestone performances from students graduating from Bronze to Silver, from Silver to Gold, or from Gold to Gold Bar.  Each student performs a solo routine to commemorate this wonderful transition in front of the best audience of Arthur Murray students, teachers, family, and friends.

Reserve Your Table Early

This event sells out every year, and we expect that trend to continue as the studios participating continue to grow.  You can follow the link below to secure your seat, or table, for this popular event.

Flash Formation

The Grand Finale of this event will feature each Arthur Murray studio doing a group dance-off to the song “Greased Lightning”.  The winning team will take home the coveted Flash Formation trophy which will be displayed in their school until the next Medal Ball.
