This Dance Student Lost 75 Pounds with Arthur Murray

Kathy Tribuzio:  Her Amazing Journey In Her Own Words

Every student arrives with an external goal:  learn to dance.

What makes that unique is the internal goal behind it:  weight loss, stress relief, confidence, you name it.

As a dance student, both types of goals are equally important. 

When we see progress both internally and externally, a dance student can truly say they have achieved results on and off the dance floor.  We’d like to share the story of one such student from our Hayward location:  Kathy Tribuzio.


 

“When I made that first call to Arthur Murray, l never imagined it would change my life. I rescheduled that first lesson at least two times before I hesitantly walked through that door on Valentine�s Day 2013. Who would have thought that lessons would become the highlight of my days – something to look forward to in order to balance the high stress in my life.

My new family of friends at Arthur Murray Hayward changed my life! Years of therapy could not do what they supported me in doing. My confidence is growing. I�ve lost 75 pounds… and I’m still losing! I am now able to look at myself in the mirror and smile. I don�t recognize that person, but all I know is it is the person who I have dreamed I would become.

l have always believed that life is too short to put off what you dream of doing.  I realized I never had the courage to put that into action until now. l spent too many years of my life not doing what l really wanted to do. To now be surrounded by people who tell me daily that I can do it is a true inspiration. l feel so grateful to have found new friends at Arthur Murray; what an unexpected benefit!
