Interestingly enough, the Groundlings runs in the family for Kattan as his father was also a former member of the troupe.

Since his departure from SNL in 2003, Kattan has had guest roles on shows like How I Met Your Mother, The Middle, and even appeared on Celebrity Cook-off in 2014 – where he was the first person eliminated.

DWTS 24 will give Kattan the platform, and there won’t be a once in a generation comedic legend stealing the attention.
