When did you start at Arthur Murray?

Summer of 2016

What was your “tipping point” for pursuing this job?

It was always a dream of mine to learn different forms of dancing, but never got the chance to do so. However, shortly before I came across this position, I had considered taking classes. So as I was looking for a career change I came across this dance instructor position at Arthur Murray and it felt like it was a sign and I just went for it.

Your favorite day at work so far...

I’ve learned that the brain is able to retain a ton of information. As an instructor you are constantly training and learning new things every single day.

If you had to pick the most rewarding thing about working with your students, what would it be?

I love being able to see the growth of each student and knowing that I contributed to helping them achieve their goals.

What’s the best thing about the team you work with?

They are always willing to lend a helping hand when you need it.

How would you describe the school you work in?

Arthur Murray Fremont has the best group of students and instructors. Everyone here is so supportive and encouraging to one another.

What are some of your biggest accomplishments you’re most proud of?

When I was in 5th grade, a few friends and I made up a program for a school project called “Pennies 4 Pals” where we raised money to buy books for kids in the hospital.

What is one off-the-wall weird fact about you?

I love watching Family Feud and wish to someday be on the show.
