The 2017 Arthur Murray Live Content Resolutions

Our 2017 Arthur Murray Live Content Resolutions

It’s a shame, and we will be the first to tell you, that being called “Arthur Murray Live”, and not posting on Facebook Live until December 2016 is downright criminal.   So this is a full disclosure, put your content money where your mouth is, open letter to our readers, resolutions list.

1.  Facebook Live

If you haven’t seen it yet, just wait – Facebook has deployed Facebook Live to swallow up the rest of the live streaming marketshare like the Death Star  on some unsuspecting planet – and we are jumping in on a regular basis.

Expect to see a Live Stream for every major dance event throughout the year, but we see this as a great opportunity for Live Dance Advice on a regular basis.

Here’s a little snippet of what we’ve done so far on the platform.

2. YouTube Channel

Our YouTube channel will be undergoing some changes, and to help unveil our new and improved channel we have a special video that we will be releasing in the coming weeks.  Don’t worry, we will promote the heck out of it, Facebook Live, Snapchat, and blog about it so no one misses the world premiere.  =)

3.  Pinterest Anyone?

Yes, we have a Pinterest account (Here it is) and No, we haven’t really done much with it.  All of that changes in January 2017 as our account is currently undergoing some strategic enhancements for all of your pinning wants and desires.

4.  Snapchat

snapcode.pngThe social media platform that was the fastest growing network with millenials in 2015 is hotter than ever.

So we decided to recruit a task force of supremely talented individuals (our staff) to help stage our first event covered, almost exclusively, on Snapchat – the Holiday Ball.

We had interviews with students, funny selfies, random questions on our Red Carpet, and plenty of Snaps (those are the pictures you submit) of the social dancing.

In 2017 we are aiming to Snap regularly on the ArthurmurrayUSA account, and we have a few surprises in store leading up to our next big Snapchat event – the Heavy Medal Ball.

Here’s a little bit more on what Snapchat is, and why you should try it out.

5.  Articles Every Day

That’s right.  Now, if you’re a big reader of the Huffington Post, a single article everyday would lead you to believe that Ariana Huffington has rented an island for her entire staff to vacation off the grid, but for us – this is a big undertaking.

We tested this out in September of 2016, and no one died.  So it’s a go.

You can expect to read something helpful, funny, practical, or weird about your ballroom dance hobby every single day.  If you’d like to get caught up – here’s all of our best articles of 2016

Final Thought

We had an incredible year on our website, and that’s all the more reason to push the content further, across more platforms, and to improve your experience with us.

If you’ve subscribed already, we thank you.  If you haven’t, we send out one email per week to our subscribers with a curated list of our best articles – that’s it.  We’d love to have you follow all the action.
