8 Reasons Why Your Mom Deserves Dance Lessons

A hug.  Some flowers.  A quick card on the way to brunch.  Yes, Mastermind, your Mom will read the card, smell the flowers, and maybe even shed a tear.

Mother’s Day?  Check.  Birthday?  Check.  Relief?  Check.

It shouldn’t be this easy. No, seriously… It really shouldn’t be that easy.

It’s time to make a few changes.  Let’s raise the bar, change the approach, and give her something that will have you grinning in victory as you pass the masses of average offspring picking up overpriced bouquets on the side of the road.

8 Reasons Why Your Mom Deserves Dance Lessons

1. As many times as she could have reminded you, she didnt

As a kid, you probably complained about more scrapes and bruises than she did about the time she spent in labor with you.  Give her some dance lessons and call it equal.

2. She has been your stage manager, roadie, booking agent, and limousine service

If she was an Uber driver, your account would be in the super-negative hall of fame.  For more on this topic, check out How to Trade Dance Lessons for More Sports: 5 Ways.

3. You have some making up to do!

For 15 years, your Mothers Day gifts were made of construction paper, and included promises of back rubs and car washes that have yet to be delivered.  Its time to pay up.

4. She didnt ship you off to boarding school during your teen years, even though she could (should) have.

Imagine if you could view a video montage from one of your years as a teenager.  As soon as it was over, you’d ship you off to boarding school.

5. There were dreams and hobbies she had that she chose to sacrifice to be your Mom

You may have taken dance classes, music lessons, or sports as a kid and never really realized that your Mom was living out her own dream through you.  With a gesture from you, and a visit to her local Arthur Murray dance studio – she can have the real thing.

6. There were times that she probably felt guilty for showering, eating, reading, or hanging out with her friends because she put your needs first

Let her know that you will be totally fine if she takes a shower, stops by Arthur Murray, and meets you for dinner afterwards.  She’s earned it.

7. Because shes going to be your dance partner at your next family function

Imagine the next wedding reception, birthday party, or anniversary with your Mom as your Salsa, Swing, or Cha-Cha partner.

8. Because flowers wilt, chocolate disappears, and she’s got a box full of scarves that you’ve bought her

The history you share with your mother is like a fingerprint.  It’s unique.  And a unique woman deserves a unique gift.  Whether it is Mother’s Day, her birthday, or just Tuesday – Your Mom definitely deserves dance lessons.

Final Thought

Your Mom is special, that’s sort of been established.  So why not do something unique and special for her?

Whether it’s a gift card, a surprise appointment, or she’s your plus one at one of our next open house nights, this is one gift that she won’t return, will always fit, and will make up for all of those handmade car wash coupons you never serviced out.
