Arthur Murray San Francisco Has New Moves

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – Since being approved by the city to open its doors, Arthur Murray San Francisco has developed a positive atmosphere, a core group of students, and teachers committed to making the studio successful.  One of those teachers, however, is on the move.

Shifts And Promotion

As of January, 2016 Eva Love has been promoted from the position of instructor to New Student Counselor.  This is the first senior executive position for Love and making that possible was another move for the San Francisco team.  Chris Rhett shifts from the New Student Counselor to the studio Supervisor.  This is a return to the position he held at the Redwood City location when they were one of the top schools in the organization.

The Role of the New Student Counselor

The New Student Counselor, or “Counselor”, acts as a coach and guide for new students.  They visit lessons, offer insight, and are utilized as a resource for developing a student’s dancing, and personalized program to achieve their long term dance goals.

The Role of the Supervisor

The Supervisor operates in a similar fashion to the Counselor, but their primary responsibility is to help guide the students, alongside their teachers, once they have built their basic dance foundation. The Supervisor will help to create lesson plans, provide coaching, and help to make improvements to a student’s dance program.

Expanding The Arthur Murray San Francisco Team

The Executive department is not the only area of new moves.  Mid-December, the team welcomed three instructors who passed through the training program administered by owners, Chris and Daisey Lynam.  This is no small feat as there are typically 25-50 applicants for every one hire.  Ryan Massa, Tara Pikulski, and Roy Polk each bring a passion for teaching, dancing, and the team-first dynamic necessary to be a part of the up-and-coming team at Arthur Murray San Francisco
